한국과 중국의 서예가들 제주로 제주로 - 미디어제주

 

 

2025 제주·서울·중국서예교류전 개최
6월 28일부터 7월 3일까지 문예회관서

[미디어제주 = 김형훈 기자] 우리나라와 중국의 서예가들이 제주에 모인다. 바로 2025 제주·서울·중국서예교류전이다. 교류전은 6월 28일부터 7월 3일까지 제주문예회관 제1전시실에서 마련된다.

이번 서예교류전은 사단법인 제주서예문화연구원(원장 김광우), 서울신묵회(대표 권상호), 중국류서법연구원(원장 예하이린) 등 세 곳의 서예 단체가 공동 주최한다.

제주는 회원 33명이 65점을, 서울은 30명의 회원이 64점을, 중국에서 오는 이들도 12명이 15점을 내놓아 서로 묵향을 뽐낸다. 찬조 작품을 포함하면 이번 교류전에서 150점에 가까운 작품을 볼 수 있다.

한국과 중국은 한자를 기반으로 서예를 발전시켰다. 같은 듯하지만 서로의 장점을 살리며 결이 다른 서예를 발전시켜 왔다. 이번 특별전은 중국의 고전적 형태의 서예를 맛볼 수 있고, 한국은 우리글인 한글을 포함해 다양한 서예의 미학을 느낄 수 있다.

제주서예문화연구원 김광우 원장은 “중국 상하이 예하이린 교수 그룹이 동참하면서 전시 품격이 높아졌다. 서울과 제주 작가들도 훌륭한 작품을 출품했다. 보시는 분들은 비교 관람하는 좋은 시간이 될 것이다”며 “앞으로 국내외 교류전을 더욱 확대하고자 한다. 추사체 탄생 고장의 자존심이, 소위 ‘제주서예의 국제화 또는 세계화’로 이어지길 기대한다”고 강조했다.

한편 개회식은 6월 28일 오후 5시 예정돼 있다. 개회식에 앞서 식전 행사로 휘호대회와 대금 공연 등이 열린다.
