부담없는 토요일 오후이다.
공개 누드크로키 대회가 4일(토) 오후
경기도 포천시 반월아트홀 전시관에서 열렸다.
남부현대미술제 부대행사로 열린 이날 대회에 작가 30여명이 참가하고,
시민 50여명도 함께 관람했다.
나는 정기호 한국크로키 회장님과 함께 초대받아
적극적으로 본행사에 참가하고 뒷풀이 자리에도 함께 했으며,
작가들끼리 서울까지 여흥이 이어졌다.
올해로 22회를 맞는 남부현대미술제는
지난달 25일부터
'자연과 사람이 만나는 도시'를 주제로 열리고 있으며 6일 폐막된다.
남부현대미술제는 1984년 광주의 '현대작가 에뽀끄',
부산의 '혁 미술동인회',
제주의 '관점 미술동인회'를 중심으로
서울 중심의 미술인모임에 대응하는 뜻에서
지방의 현대미술을 발전시키기 위해 시작됐다.
서울미술협회에서 나와 함께 일하고 있는
이병석 남부현대미술제 운영위원장은 이번 포천전시회에는
한국 현대회화와 조각을 대표하는 작가 500여명이 참여했다며
그동안 누드크로키대회를 비공개로 치러왔으나
포천시민들의 호응에 보답하기 위해 공개했다고 말했다.
