봉암서예원, 이경무 원장 8주기 추모
헌정시·휘호작품 봉정식 개최
약 3개월 동안 헌정할 작품을 준비한 도정 권상호씨는 ‘어진 마음으로 선을 베푸시어 민생을 구제하고 집집마다 쌀을 나누시니 엄동설한도 가벼워라, 고양에 큰집을 세우시고 문화를 드넓히시니 그 덕업은 길이길이 남아 만세토록 빛나리라’라는 작품을 설명하며 이경무 원장의 업적이 선양하고자 했던 뜻을 밝혔다.
행사에 참석한 고 이경무 원장의 장남 이병철씨는 “아버님의 뜻이 담긴 봉암서예원이 잘 운영될 수 있도록 힘써주시는 이남무 원장님께 감사드린다”며 “이렇게 아버님을 추모하는 시를 헌정해주시니 가문의 영광으로 생각하고 앞으로 아버님의 유지를 잘 받들겠다”고 인사의 말을 했다.
이어 이남무 원장은 “올해로 8주기를 맞는 봉암 이경무 원장은 지역사회의 순화와 전통문화 계승발전을 위해 헌신하며 고양문화원의 토대를 세우신 분”이라며 “처음으로 헌정시를 봉정하게 되어 큰 영광이며 대대손손 잘 보전해 계승하고, 이경무 원장님의 유훈대로 봉암서예원이 누구나 오셔서 학문과 서, 화를 공부하시는 행복한 배움의 쉼터가 될 수 있도록 잘 운영하겠다”고 말했다.
