천둥소리로 만난 대학 동기들
6월10일 쉬는 토요일 낮
아침부터 천둥소리에 내리꽂는 소낙비가 예사롭지 않다 했더니
뜻밖에 우리 카페 식구 열 여섯 명이 만났다.
서울역사내 갤러리아 T園에서
다시 인사동 경인미술관을 거쳐
대중식당 竹馬故友에서 오랜만의 해후를 가졌다.
78년 2월에 졸업한 후
28년만에 만나는 벗들도 있다.
이대로라면
앞으로 한번 더 만날 수 있을까?
무지도 어두운 자치방에서 냄비 닦던 칭구들이
헌책방 기웃거리다 그것마져 포기하고도
졸업장 딸라꼬 4년 동안 무던히도 잘 참아낸 벗들이
더러는 여전히 열씸인 쌤으로 정진하고
더러는 5년, 10년씩 아픔을 딛고 다시 백묵을 잡고
더러는 전업주부로 급회전한 칭구도 있고
더러는 교수로, 시인으로
더러는 교감, 또는 교장으로......
이놈만 먹칠하고 다니는구나.

아들딸 낳고 열씨미 살아왔구나.
희끗하게 머리 염색하고
제법 깊게 이맛살 주름잡고도
미소를 잃지 않는 품이
당당하구나.
의젓하구나.
내년엔 6월 9일에 씩스나인으로 만난다꼬?
