조선 영조가 1760년 창덕궁 춘당대에서 청계천 준설 공사 완공을 기념해 연 시회를 그린 ‘춘당대영화당시사후사선도’(春塘臺暎花堂試射後賜膳圖ㆍ37.3cm×24.8cm)
'지금에야 준천공사가 완성되니(于今濬成)
신민의 효력이었네(臣民效力).
반드시 이 정성으로(須將此誠)
한 번 강한 나라를 세워보자(一施軍國).'
조선 영조는 재위 36년째이던 1760년 창덕궁 춘당대(春塘臺)에서 이 시를 지었다. 20여만명을 동원한 청계천 준설 공사의 마무리를 축하하는 자리에서 영조는 '강한 조선'를 염원하며 신하들과 '힘 력(力), 나라 국(國)' 두 자를 운으로 하는 시를 주고 받았다.
25일부터 예술의 전당 서예박물관에서 열리는 '데라우치의 보물, 시서화에 깃든 조선의 마음'에서 처음 일반에 공개되는'어제준천제명첩'(御製濬川題名帖) 중 '춘당대영화당시사후사선도'(春塘臺暎花堂試射後賜膳圖)에 나오는 장면이다.
